Make plans to attend the 2023 Rivercrest Education Foundation Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, April 1, at 6 p.m. in the High School Gym.
This night of fun includes a catered BBQ meal, music, live and silent auction, games, prizes, and a chance to help the Class of 2023 continue their education at a technical school or college of their choice.
Help our Seniors get a step ahead as they enter the next phase of their lives! It takes a village!

Rivercrest High School Student Council will sponsor the second of three blood drives on Tuesday February 28th.
The blood drive will take place in the high school Gymnasium from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Community members are welcome to give and walk-ins are welcome. Students must be at least 16 years old to give blood and students under the age of 17 require parental consent. Parent consent forms are available in the High School Library.
Seniors who donate twice during their senior year are eligible to receive red cords worn at graduation.
Online scheduling is now available. Donors can schedule their appointment by using the following link.

Rivercrest Elementary will celebrate Valentine's Day THIS Friday, February 10. We will have our Valentine's Parties that afternoon.
Safety is always of utmost importance. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID ID TO ENTER THE BUILDING. YOU MAY ENTER THROUGH THE FRONT DOORS OR THE SIDE DOORS FROM THE PARKING LOT. Please be prepared to present your ID and sign in.

Tomorrow, Rivercrest ISD will honor our #seniors2023 basketball boys and girls at Senior Night.
All Senior Lady Rebels & Rebels will be recognized at mid-court about 5:45 (before the varsity girls game).

Rivercrest will remain in school all day today due to the road being cleared from a wreck on a bridge between Rivercrest and Talco. Highway 271 is closed at this moment between Rivercrest and Talco.

Ballgames are canceled and as of right now are rescheduled for Wednesday night at 5:30 (Varsity only)
Wednesday, February 1 Two hour delayed start at 10:00 as of right now. Busses will run 2 hours later.

Rivercrest ISD will have a two hour delayed start on Wednesday, January 25. The weather forecast calls for winter mix and precipitation with temperatures near freezing which could make roads hazardous. Classes will begin at 10:00 am on all Rivercrest campuses. DOORS AT THE ELEMENTARY WILL OPEN AT 9:30. Please eat breakfast at HOME as breakfast will not be served tomorrow.


Rivercrest ISD will observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 16. Students and staff will resume school on Tuesday, January 17.

Fire Safety Week is here! Rivercrest Elementary will be learning about Fire Safety today as we host our wonderful Volunteer Firefighters from Bogata & Talco. The firetrucks will be here this afternoon and our students will participate in several fire safety activities.
