Dear parents:
Today, at Rivercrest Junior High School, your child participated in a lockdown drill. It is important for students to be prepared and not scared should a situation ever occur. Please talk to your child about the drill, and reinforce the importance of practicing. If this had been a real emergency, you would have received instructions on what needed to be done in order for all students to remain safe and secure. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office. Thank you for continuing to trust Rivercrest ISD with your students' safety and education.

The last bus is leaving the UIL meet. We should be back on campus by 5:15.

RJHS plans to participate in the Spirit of Giving this year. Our item will be small throw blankets. If you would like to donate, please have your student deliver to their third period teacher.
Thank you in advance.

The RJHS Boxed food drive will begin next week (11/14-12/1). Please consider donating boxed food items such as Macaroni and Cheese, Hamburger Helper, and Rice-a-Roni to help fill Angel Tree baskets.

Our 8th grade football team will play Boles tonight at "The Swamp". Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00.
Our 7th grade football team will travel to Cooper to play at 5:00.
