Just a reminder, all transportation changes should be made in writing (send a note) unless it is an emergency. If you must call, be sure you are calling the Elementary Office 903-632-5204 ext 3000 before 2:00 pm. We will no longer allow students to tell us where they are supposed to be. This is the best way to ensure that students get to where they should be safely. Thank you for understanding.

Rivercrest ISD Parents and Guardians, Today, our Mighty Rivercrest Rebel Regiment Marching Band placed in the top three at the Area marching contest in Lindale, Texas. This great accomplishment for our band has earned them the opportunity to compete in the State UIL Marching Band Contest in the Alamodome in San Antonio on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Although it is quite a distance from Johntown, Texas, we want to give everyone an opportunity to travel to San Antonio to support and cheer for our Band in the State competition. Therefore, Rivercrest ISD will be closed all day for students and staff on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. We are very proud of the accomplishments of our band program, and we are especially proud of our band students for representing Rivercrest ISD in such a great way. Best of luck to our Rivercrest Rebel Regiment Marching Band in the State UIL Marching Band Competition!! Sincerely, Stanley Jessee Superintendent, Rivercrest ISD

A Little clarification on Parent Pick up. Pre-K -2nd grade will pick up students who are parent pick up at 3:15 on the high school side of the building. Please go down and make a line that circles through the football field parking lot. 3rd-5th Grades will need to be picked up on the Talco side of the building starting at 3:25. If you need for your student to be changed from Early to Late due to an older sibling, please let your child's teacher know by writing them a note. No one should park and walk up to the building. The lines will move faster as we get to know student's names and parent cars. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Water Bottles are a GREAT idea! Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle to school daily. The bottles should contain water only.
