Rivercrest ISD will have a two hour delayed start on Wednesday, January 25. The weather forecast calls for winter mix and precipitation with temperatures near freezing which could make roads hazardous. Classes will begin at 10:00 am on all Rivercrest campuses. DOORS AT THE ELEMENTARY WILL OPEN AT 9:30. Please eat breakfast at HOME as breakfast will not be served tomorrow.

Fire Safety Week is here! Rivercrest Elementary will be learning about Fire Safety today as we host our wonderful Volunteer Firefighters from Bogata & Talco. The firetrucks will be here this afternoon and our students will participate in several fire safety activities.

Parents who are picking students up before the pep rally can start arriving and signing them out from 2:05 - 2:25. Please do not pick your child up *at* the pep rally as this will add to the chaos. We want everyone to have a great experience at the Homecoming Pep Rally and get all our students home safely and in an orderly manner.
Students will walk over at 2:30 to the high school with staff and will load onto their buses after the pep rally at the high school.
There is NO 3:15 parent pick-up today. Parent pick-up students who are not picked up before the pep rally, will walk back to the elementary with staff and be picked up on the south end (Talco side) of the elementary building at 3:30.
Important Pep Rally Information:
Today, your child will bring home a note about the Homecoming Pep Rally THIS Friday. It is important that you fill out the information and send it back to school tomorrow. Safety is our TOP priority and since we will be doing something "new", we need your cooperation and help.

Here are the 20232-23 Bus Routes and Drivers -- please use your address to determine which route your child will be on this year.
