Job Description :

We are looking for the best teacher / girls’ coach to fill an opening

Teaching is currently tied to US History or Technology

Coaching position could be tied to head volleyball, head track, head tennis or a combination of these.  This position will also assist in basketball at either the JH or HS depending on the applicant.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university.

Valid Texas teaching certificate

CDL with the ability to drive a bus

Hard worker who wants girls to succeed in all sports

Holds kids accountable and comes to work every day with a positive attitude.

Salary :

Pay:

Above State Base

Competitive stipends per sport plus days

Retention bonus paid in Nov.

Primary Purpose:

Direct WRRSSA’s special education program to ensure provision of needed services for special needs students; assess the educational, learning styles and program needs of students referred to special education services. Provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities. Work to provide individualized education plans to meet the needs of all students and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local requirements.

Education/Certification:

Master’s degree

Valid teaching certificate in Special Education

Valid Texas Education Diagnostician certificate, or ability to complete accredited program within one year of accepting position

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Commanding knowledge of federal and state special education laws

Understanding of the individual needs to special needs students

Demonstrated leadership skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of special needs students and their parents

Ability to implement policy and procedures

Ability to interpret data

Ability to manage budget

Ability to manage special education personnel

Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, education of special education student, human development

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Minimum three years experience in supervisory role

Minimum three years teaching experience

Cafeteria Worker – Part-time

Rivercrest ISD is accepting applications for a part-time cafeteria worker. 

Requirements: 

Current negative TB test, fingerprinting, ability to follow meal pattern requirements and all duties assigned by the cafeteria manager, ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment and perform cleaning tasks.  Heavy lifting is required.
