My name is Jim Purviance. I am the freshman/senior Social Studies teacher at Rivercrest High School. I am a graduate of Rivercrest, and also Texas A&M University. My wife Stephanie and I have been married for 11 years. We have 2 children--Will, 9, and Gabe, 6. Both are students at Rivercrest Elementary. We are active members of Cuthand Methodist Church, and also in the community. My door is always open to any parent who wants to discuss the educational well-being of their child.
