About me

I grew up in Talco and attended both Talco Elementary and Junior High. I graduated from Rivercrest High School in 1986. After graduation, I attended Northeast Texas Community College and graduated from East Texas State University in December 1993, earning a degree in Elementary Education.
I have completed my 17th year of teaching, all of which have been at Rivercrest ISD. After 11 years of teaching 3rd grade, I began teaching kindergarten in 2004.
My husband, Ricky, also graduated from Rivercrest. We have been married for 22 years and have two children who also attend school at Rivercrest. You might say we are a family of Rivercrest Rebels!!
I really enjoy watching my children and other students compete and be successful in their activities.
