DIRECTORS
John Marsh- Director of Bands
Mr. Marsh is beginning his second year as Director of Bands at Rivercrest ISD. He has ten years of experience at the 1A-5A levels. Originally from Atlanta, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Louisiana Scholars' College in 1998 and is currently completing a Masters degree in School Administration. He spent 5 years teaching in Louisiana before returning home to Texas. Most recently, Mr. Marsh served as Director of Bands at Quanah ISD.
Mr. Marsh is married to his lovely wife Trevelyn. They have two beautiful children - Harmony Michele who is 5 years old and Kadence Allen who is 2 years old.
Shawna Martin - Assistant Director
Mrs. Martin is also beginning her second year as assistant director at Rivercrest ISD having previously worked with Mr. Marsh at Quanah ISD. She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music and has taught for five years.
Mrs. Martin is married to Tim, a full time music and youth minister.
