8th Grade Parent Night
Rivercrest High School will host an 8th Grade Parent Night on Monday, February 27, beginning at 6:30 PM in the auditorium. The new State of Texas Academic Assessments of Readiness and End –of-Course (STAAR-EOC) testing requirements will be discussed.
Current freshmen and their parents are also welcome to attend this session to learn how STAAR-EOC requirements affect their child since this information was not final last year.
Eighth graders will choose classes for next year and will decide whether to pursue the Recommended High School Program or the Distinguished Achievement Program.
All 8th-graders and their parents are encouraged to attend.
