The students I have in the English I classes this year will be learning many things to help prepare them for college and also for their future. It has been 20 years since I have taught English I, so I am looking forward to the classes. After studying the textbooks during the summer, I think they have improved tremendously over the last 20 years! There are so many different ways to teach the students about reading, conversing and writing. I hope that the students will enjoy the class with all of the activities we will have and come out with a better understanding of the English language.
